When the Federal Government needed to develop a communication strategy to reach more than 8.7 million Australian households and help them make the switch from analogue to digital television, they chose N2N.
Three years later, 3,000 pieces of creative coverage, 8,000 stakeholders engaged and 80 community events, the job was almost complete. With near saturation of awareness by year three, N2N’s role was expanded to target groups that had not yet converted (the elderly, disabled and vulnerable) and the stakeholders that influenced them.
The end result? More than 98 per cent of Australian households successfully switched to digital television and the rest is history. The campaigns that N2N delivered were recognised by both sides of Parliament and stakeholders as crucial to achieving outstanding measurable results (97 per cent awareness, 93 per cent understanding of need to switch). The campaign was so successful that the government engaged N2N, to help the public prepare for the change in frequencies so people didn’t lose their favourite TV programming.
