N2N has been engaged by Airbnb to build awareness of the brand in Australia and New Zealand, and support its mission of creating a world where people can belong anywhere.


A big part of N2N’s focus is securing positive early-general-news coverage that puts Airbnb into the heart of everyday conversation.  Ongoing activity has included generating media coverage to amplify brand partnerships, profiling interesting and quirky listings, generating proactive stories linked to consumer events and supporting with press office management.


In March 2015 N2N ran a media campaign to support Airbnb’s sponsorship of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras.  The campaign saw Airbnb list the ‘world’s first liveable Mardi Gras float’ and launch a competition for two lucky guests to stay on the float, the night before the Mardi Gras parade.  N2N was responsible for all media activity surrounding the partnership  – activity that generated over 100 pieces of positive articles and established a local narrative that brought Airbnb’s ‘belong anywhere’ mission to life.
