Challenge
Our client provides businesses with tools to track emissions data as well as software to help minimise the carbon footprint through effective supply chain design and better energy efficiency in facilities and manufacturing operations.n2n identified the opportunity to research Australian SME manufacturers and logistics companies on the issue of carbon. The aim of the research was to drive local business media coverage to build awareness of our client beyond the logistics trade press and position them as a thought leader on the issue of green supply chains.
Solution
n2n researched and wrote a survey to assess Australian business’ attitudes to carbon emissions and developed a series of case studies to demonstrate how leading enterprises are tackling the challenge.
Results
- The online survey generated responses from more than 100 managers in the manufacturing, retail, mining, distribution and third party logistics industries.
- The survey findings were used to generate mass media coverage and accompanied by a series of case studies profiling leading organisations’ strategies to reduce carbon emissions.
- The campaign resulted in comprehensive articles in national and technical management press (including The Australian Financial Review, Green Business Special Report). The Australian survey is now being adopted as a template for a global initiative.
