Experian provides data, analytical and marketing services to organisations worldwide. As a growing business in Australia, the company is continually evolving through new service launches. This means that market education about the Experian brand is essential to ensure improved understanding of its local offering.
Solution
n2n conducted a press audit to assess the media’s understanding of Experian. Despite strong business line awareness for services such as CheetahMail and Hitwise, there was little media understanding of the full Experian business. Using these insights, n2n designed and implemented a media strategy to promote the Experian brand.
Results
n2n secured relationship briefings for the Experian MD with media, marketing and IT journalists at leading publications including The AFR, The Australian and BRW. Following the meetings, the journalists now know Experian and its business, enabling them to proactively call the company for comment on a broad range of thought leadership topics such as digital marketing, retail trends and customer intelligence.
